The Private Reserves Network was formed thanks to the support of several organizations that work towards similar goals and objectives.

The World Conservation Union (IUCN) is the world’s largest and most important conservation network. The Union brings together 83 States, 110 government agencies, more than 800 non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and some 10,000 scientists and experts from 181 countries in a unique worldwide partnership. The World Commission on Protected Areas (WCPA) is the world's premier network of protected area expertise. The Nature Conservancy (TNC) is a leading conservation organization working around the world to protect ecologically important lands and waters for nature and people.  Further information on TNC can be found at: http://www.nature.org

The World Parks Congress is an event that takes place every ten years. It provides a major global forum for setting the agenda for protected areas. In the United States, our protected areas, or as we call them national parks, register a whopping 290 million visits each year. The Private Lands Network (PLN) provides a simple and effective means for U.S. landowners to connect with qualified, often local, professionals to navigate the complex ins and outs of real estate transactions, tax and estate planning, and regional land conservation activities. The Sonoran Institute (SI) promotes community decisions that respect the land and people of western North America. A not-for-profit organization that works to shape a North American West with healthy landscapes vibrant with human and wildlife populations living in harmony with the environment.
